The Band

GUITAR: David comes from a very musical family and has been playing professionally since the early 80's. He has been in several successful projects over the years and done so in several different states. Influences include but are not limited to Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag, and many others. Equipment includes Jackson Guitars, Marshall Amplification, Variax acoustics.

GUITAR & VOCALS: Hailing from Alabama; Borden brings strong blusey-type vocals to the band. Influenced by a mix of everthing from The Beatles to SRV, gear includes a 1965 Fender Stratocaster, 1977 Gibson Les Paul Standard, 2004 Rickenbacker 360/12, POD XT Live, all run through a mid 70's Fender Twin Reverb.

LEAD VOCALS: Martin joined his first band when he was 11. Playing at his school auditorium was where it all started. He started played rhythm guitar for local band Invictus. After several gigs he decided to pick up the microphone and put the guitar down. The rest is history. Throughout his life he has always “found” a band somewhere. Giving a energetic performance has always been his motto. Opening for Tesla in 2001 has been the most memorable gig (playing in front of several thousand). He now fronts the Dallas band Uncovered and can be found playing the Dallas club circuit as well as private parties.

BASS, BACKING VOCALS: Sean Thornton is a Dallas native who was raised on music. Sean’s father is a world-class Barbershop Quartet tenor who still composes and collaborates on music today. So you could say music is just in Sean’s blood. He began learning music at the age of 7 in grade school and continued playing in the band all the way through middle school. Yes, he was a band weenie, but that has certainly paid off now that he is playing music professionally and doing what he loves which is bringing fat bass line grooves to musical projects. Sean can also provide backing vocals, harmonies, and the occasional lead vocalist spot when the time is right. You can see Sean performing with Uncovered, and other local musical projects from time to time.

DRUMS: A drummer since the age of ten, Jay arrived in DFW in the mid 90's from Virgina and wasted no time getting into the local music scene. He has provided strong back beats for several bands in Dallas including Axxis and Blue Heaven. A wide array of Influences include; Kenny Aronoff and Stephen Perkins to Chuck Biscuits and Dave Lombardo.
